hello! hope your summer is going well.
if you're reading this to find out if i have gear for sale again: i do! i finished up some more shelters that are available now at meadowphysics.com. packs are almost there, expecting them to be done within a week (i’ll make a post on the meadowphysics instagram when those are up).
anyways, quick update on what i've got going on lately:
i started my summer off with a NE US roadtrip. roller coasters, state highpoints, hiking, disc golf, friends, family, pizza, the white house. it really had it all. felt fun to be on the road with alex again.
other than that, i have been in cincinnati. i got a cute 64-key spinet piano and have been practicing a lot. first i caught up to my high school skill level and then i learned new pieces by gershwin, debussy, and chopin. playing the piano has become one of the great pleasures of my life again.
most of my time these days is spent working on hiking gear. it has been rewarding to see my craftsmanship and efficiency improve. after traveling for so much of june, i'm proud of all the work i've done in july. i try to keep it fun by having multiple small production runs in progress and by making something new when inspiration strikes.
i haven’t taken much time to work on videos lately, but i did put together a few episodes of a ‘business diaries’ series showing some of the few moments i’ve captured while starting up meadowphysics. here’s the first one:
some other slices of life that i’m appreciating are my bicycle commute, watching my fiddleleaf fig plant grow, nighttime walks in the neighborhood, seeing oppenheimer, and playing disc golf.
okay that's all for now, thanks for reading.

Supercool watching behind the scenes like this. I think that shirt will be a buy for me if it comes out. Looks really cool!
Thanks papa John's
